Meet Adrien King: Building a Career Centered on Care and Connection 

For Adrien King, a career in healthcare has always been about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. From her roots in Bright, Indiana, to her role as a radiologic technologist, Adrien’s journey has been guided by a passion for helping people, continuous learning, and building connections with patients and families. 

Growing up in Bright, Indiana, Adrien enjoyed the close-knit atmosphere of a small community. Many of her favorite memories come from simple moments spent with family and friends. Those experiences helped shape the values that continue to influence her today, including the importance of compassion, community, and supporting others. 

Adrien pursued her interest in healthcare through the radiologic technology program at Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Sciences, where she developed the technical skills and clinical knowledge needed to begin her career. Before becoming a full-time technologist, she spent a year at Cincinnati Children’s as a student technologist. During that time, she gained valuable hands-on experience while working alongside dedicated healthcare professionals and caring for patients and families. 

That positive experience made a lasting impression. After completing her education, Adrien chose to remain at Cincinnati Children’s where she could continue growing professionally while contributing to a team she had already come to appreciate. 

“I was drawn to the medical field because I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives,” Adrien says. “I’ve always valued helping others, along with the lifelong learning, problem-solving, and relationship-building that come with working in healthcare.” 

For Adrien, one of the most rewarding aspects of her role is knowing that her work can have a real impact on patients and their families. Whether performing imaging exams or helping create a positive experience during a healthcare visit, she appreciates the opportunity to support others during important moments in their lives. 

Outside of work, Adrien enjoys traveling and spending time with friends. She also has a special enthusiasm for all things Disney. From watching classic Disney movies to visiting Disney World, she enjoys the creativity, storytelling, and sense of adventure that come with the Disney experience. 

With a strong foundation in healthcare, a commitment to patient-centered care, and an eagerness to learn and grow, Adrien King is excited for the future and the opportunities ahead as she continues making a difference in the lives of patients and families.
