April Radiology MVP Spotlight: Zoe King

April Radiology MVP Spotlight: Zoe King

We are proud to recognize Zoe King as our Radiology Department’s April MVP, honoring the extraordinary compassion, connection, and care she brings to every patient interaction.

Zoe, one of our newer fetal ultrasound team members, has already made a profound impact, not only within our department, but in the lives of the families she serves. While our fetal sonographers often work closely with the Fetal Care Center and may not always be in the spotlight, this recognition is a powerful reminder of the exceptional work happening across our entire department.

Zoe was nominated following heartfelt feedback submitted through the Daisy Award program, a recognition typically reserved for nurses. It speaks volumes that a patient’s family felt so strongly about their experience that they took the extra step to ensure her care was acknowledged.

Their words capture the depth of her impact:

“Zoe was an amazing ultrasound technician. She went above and beyond to explain things in detail. Her energy was an absolute delight and brought light to the dark I have been experiencing. She instantly felt like a close friend from the moment she got us from the waiting room. Zoe explained everything she was doing…she made us feel like we were in the room with the infant. She is exactly where she should be and is the best medical professional I have ever encountered.”

Zoe represents the very best of what it means to provide patient-centered care. Her ability to combine clinical excellence with empathy, connection, and communication is truly inspiring.

And congratulations to all the other April MVP nominees! We are the best because of you!
