Welcome to Our New Ultrasound Sonographers

We’re thrilled to introduce the newest members of our talented ultrasound team at Cincinnati Children’s! Each of these individuals brings a unique background, passion for patient care, and a strong commitment to learning and growth in the field of sonography. While Bailey, Taylor, and Zoe hail from different parts of the country and walks of life, they each share a common goal: to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families through compassionate and expert ultrasound care. Let’s get to know them a little better as they begin their exciting journey with us.

Hello! My name is Bailey White. I grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, and moved to Cincinnati six years ago for school. I now live in Northern Kentucky with my boyfriend and son. I graduated from Cincinnati State’s ultrasound program in May. I am super excited to be joining Children’s and their ultrasound team!

Hi, my name is Taylor Williams, and I recently joined the team at Cincinnati Children’s working as a sonographer in the Radiology department. I grew up in the Cincinnati area, specifically West Chester. As a daughter of parents who are both Ohio State athletes and alumni, I was born a fan and practically bleed scarlet and gray. I’ve been involved in sports for as long as I can remember, but I eventually gravitated towards softball. Most of my childhood was spent practicing and playing in tournaments around the country. While softball was a huge part of my identity and something I envisioned myself pursuing at the collegiate level, I ultimately decided to prioritize my academics.

My first year of college I attended The Ohio State University majoring in Health Sciences—planning to eventually apply to PA school. The pandemic complicated college life and I found myself at a crossroads, faced with decisions that would potentially impact the course of my future. While I had always envisioned myself pursuing a career in medicine, I realized that college was very different from my expectations… Especially in the year of 2020. I ultimately decided to come home and take a gap year. I didn’t know it at the time, but this would come to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

It was during my gap year that I discovered one of my passions: travel. Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to various countries such as Honduras, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, and Spain. Traveling has not only allowed me to experience beauty in nature, but also the beauty in learning new cultures and languages. I feel these experiences taught me more than textbooks ever could and led to immense personal growth and understanding for others. During my travels, I immersed myself in the culture and spoke Spanish with the locals. I felt I had finally found my calling and knew I belonged in a career that aims to connect and care for people of all ages, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds.

I have always been drawn to the medical field and have found fulfillment in contributing to the health and well-being of others. It wasn’t until I was a patient at Cincinnati Children’s that I saw firsthand how health care workers can positively impact the lives of their patients. My passion for ultrasound first started when I was a child and needed multiple follow-up renal exams following a surgery. As a new graduate, I can’t think of a better way to begin my career than at the place that first ignited my passion.

I am looking forward to working alongside the Radiology staff to deliver quality patient care while also learning and advancing my skills as a sonographer!

Hello, my name is Zoe King, and I am a newly graduated fetal sonographer in the Fetal Care Center here at Cincinnati Children’s. I was raised in Chandler, Arizona, and moved here in 2022 to pursue a career in sonography and be closer to my family. I have many fun memories of hot summers at Lake Powell and trekking through the vast canyons of Sedona growing up. The sunsets there are undeniably the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! I grew up cheerleading and would spend many Saturdays at Sun Devil Stadium, only for one of my dreams to come true to finally cheer on my team from home field during college. I still love my Buckeyes though!

I initially envisioned a career in law, driven by a deep desire to advocate for the most vulnerable in our society and to stand up for their rights and safety in an often-chaotic world. That same passion for justice and protection led me to the medical field, where I realized I could make just as powerful an impact through patient care. As someone who is naturally curious, I became fascinated with the way ultrasound uses principles of physics to create images that guide diagnoses and treatment—revealing unseen truths much like a lawyer uncovers facts to build a case. In both paths, the goal remains the same: to serve, to protect, and to make a meaningful difference for a myriad of fetal care patients and their beloved babies who need our help.

I am ecstatic about the opportunity to learn from other sonographers, radiologists, and maternal fetal medicine physicians here in Fetal Care to develop myself as a fetal sonographer who specializes in high-risk patients and fetal surgeries.

In my free time, I love to read, watch true crime documentaries, and go out on walks with my family and dog, Luna. One of my goals is to travel the world and experience different people and cultures. It is on my bucket list to visit Brazil, Ghana, and see family in Guam! The last movie I watched was Ryan Coogler’s, Sinners, and I just finished reading Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins. I look forward to meeting everyone and jumping into the world of ultrasound!

We’re so excited to have Bailey, Taylor, and Zoe on board and can’t wait to see all the amazing contributions they’ll make to our team and patients. Their stories reflect dedication, curiosity, and heart—the very qualities that define our department. Please join us in giving them a warm welcome as they begin their careers here at Cincinnati Children’s Radiology!
