Radiology’s Patient Experience: September Update

At Cincinnati Children’s Radiology, we are committed to listening to our patients and families and using their feedback to continuously improve care. Each month, we review survey results to celebrate what’s going well and identify opportunities to strengthen the patient and family experience. Here’s a look at the highlights from August.

Families continue to recognize our team’s commitment to partnering with them in their child’s care. In fact, 96.6% of families reported that we worked with them in decision-making. This reinforces our goal of ensuring every parent feels included, respected, and supported during their child’s radiology experience.

While feedback remains positive overall, some families noted challenges in being informed about delays. We recognize this as an opportunity to strengthen communication. By providing timely updates, our staff can help families feel reassured, valued, and more at ease while waiting for care.

We are always grateful for the kind words patients and families share about their experiences. Here are just a few comments that made us smile last month:

  • “Everyone we encountered was pleasant, engaged, and competent. Great experience.”
  • “Easy check in, short wait time, and radiology tech was super friendly!!!”
  • “Everyone was so friendly!! You guys are the best!”
  • “They were very friendly, explained each step of the test thoroughly, and provided results the same day.”
  • “We were treated wonderfully. I could not be happier with the kindness and respect shown to my daughter.”
