Radiology Patient Experience: January Update

As we begin a new year, the Radiology Department is proud to share our latest Patient Experience highlights. December’s feedback reflects our team’s continued dedication to providing compassionate, child-friendly care for every patient and family who walks through our doors.

December Patient Experience Data

Our commitment to delivering exceptional care remains strong. December’s scores show that families consistently feel supported, informed, and cared for throughout their visit:

  • 98.5% of patients and families agreed they were included in decision-making for their child’s care.
  • 98.4% agreed that their experience was child-friendly and age-appropriate.

These results speak directly to the everyday efforts of our staff—your communication, your compassion, and your focus on making each visit as comfortable as possible.

What Families Are Saying

Every piece of feedback helps us understand what we’re doing well and where we can continue to grow. Here are just a few of the uplifting comments we received in December:

“Every doctor appointment, every visit, every procedure that we have encountered with Cincinnati Children’s, we have been shown excellent care and compassion. I wouldn’t take [my child] anywhere else!”

“The whole process, from check-in to X-ray, was wonderful.”

“It’s always a great experience. The MRI staff was exceptional.”

“Everyone was wonderful, including our sonographer. As a sonographer myself—but for adults—I felt very comfortable with her communication during the exam.”

Thank you to everyone in Radiology—our sonographers, technologists, schedulers, nurses, physicians, frontline staff, and all who work behind the scenes. Your hard work helps families feel supported and cared for throughout their visit.
