Cincinnati Children’s Radiology Coordinator Mark Schweitzer Wins 2025 HOPE Award for Outstanding Patient Experience

We are thrilled to share some exciting news from Cincinnati Children’s Radiology Department! Mark Schweitzer, one of our dedicated CT/MRI coordinators, has been honored with the Orthopaedic Division’s HOPE Award for 2025. This prestigious recognition celebrates individuals outside the Orthopaedic Division who make an exceptional impact on patient care and team collaboration.

The HOPE Award—short for Highest Orthopaedic Patient Experience—is presented annually to those who consistently go above and beyond to improve the Cincinnati Children’s patient experience. Nominees are selected by Orthopaedic Division members and represent the very best in compassion, professionalism, and teamwork.

Mark exemplifies these qualities every day. Here’s an excerpt from his nomination that speaks volumes:

“Mark consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every patient and team member receives the highest level of support and care. He is always an absolute pleasure to work with, approachable, kind, and positive in every interaction. No matter the situation or level of urgency, Mark goes out of his way to accommodate our patients’ needs and coordinate care seamlessly. Thank you for all you do; we appreciate you!”

Mark’s commitment to excellence and his unwavering dedication to radiology services, CT/MRI coordination, and patient-centered care make him an invaluable part of our team. We are proud to celebrate his achievement and grateful for the positive impact he has on the Cincinnati Children’s community.

Congratulations, Mark, on this well-deserved recognition!
