Celebrating Compassionate Care: Sherry Dearth Receives Family Recognition Award

This quarter, we are proud to celebrate Sherry Dearth, advanced MRI technologist, as the recipient of the Radiology FY26 Q3 Family Recognition Award. Sherry has consistently earned praise from families for her warm, thoughtful approach. Families frequently highlight her dedication to keeping them informed every step of the way, demonstrating genuine kindness and empathy, and creating a comforting and supportive environment. Her ability to communicate clearly while maintaining a compassionate presence ensures families feel confident and cared for throughout their visit.

What truly sets Sherry apart is her remarkable connection with pediatric patients. MRIs can be intimidating, but Sherry has a unique gift for putting children at ease, helping them feel safe, confident, and even brave enough to complete exams independently. Her efforts not only improve the patient experience but also empower children and relieve stress for families during what can be an anxious time.

The impact of Sherry’s care is best reflected in the words of the families she serves:

“Thank you for always making this so easy! My daughter was so comfortable that she went in by herself and was able to finish the MRI without me there!”

“Everyone was so polite, helpful, and kept us informed. Sherry was very sweet and made my daughter feel very comfortable.”

“The technologist is very knowledgeable. Had a really good bedside manner.”

“Professional and friendly tech who made my daughter feel comfortable and took good care of her during her MRI. Top notch.”

Please join us in congratulating Sherry Dearth on this well-deserved recognition and thanking her for the difference she makes in the lives of patients and families every single day.
