    Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the future of healthcare, and at the University of Cincinnati, students like Alex Knapp are helping lead the way. As an electrical engineering undergraduate and Goldwater Scholar, Knapp is applying machine learning to advance diagnostic imaging and improve patient outcomes, particularly in pediatric care. Through a self-initiated co-op opportunity at Cincinnati Children’s Artificial Intelligence Imaging Research Center, he has combined innovation, persistence, and mentorship to contribute to groundbreaking research.
