Cincinnati Children’s is excited to welcome Allison Hensley to the Radiology technologist team as an X-Ray tech!
Allison grew up in Cincinnati and has always loved the area. She now lives in nearby Lebanon, Ohio, with her husband and their two cats, Sergio and Bella. Some of her favorite memories from childhood include playing soccer in local parks, cheering on the Reds at baseball games with her family, and spending sunny summer days at Kings Island.
Her love for the medical field and her passion for helping children are what led her to Cincinnati Children’s. Being able to work in a place that combines both of those dreams is something she’s truly proud of.
When she’s not at work, Allison enjoys hiking with her husband. Hocking Hills is one of their favorite spots to explore nature and take quick weekend trips. At home, you can often find her relaxing with a good book. She especially enjoys easy beach reads, and Colleen Hoover is one of her favorite authors.
We’re thrilled to have Allison on the team and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make at Cincinnati Children’s!
Glenn Miñano is a media specialist in the Department of Radiology, providing graphic design, photography, printing, video services, and administration of the department’s online properties. His works have been published in several medical articles, such as the American Journal of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound. He has been providing these services to the Radiology Department since 1996.
Meredith Towbin is a freelance copy editor and writer. She has copyedited the Department of Radiology’s blog since it launched. She also works as a copy editor for the home improvement website BobVila.com. Her writing has been featured on HuffPost as well as other writing sites.
