Cincinnati Children’s is proud to introduce Braylie Jones, one of the newest members of its Radiology Department. Originally hailing from a small town in Southern Ohio, Braylie grew up on her family farm, surrounded by a close-knit and loving community. Her rural roots are a source of pride and gratitude, as she reflects on how the support of her community shaped her values and perspective on life. “Coming from a small town is something that I will always be extremely proud of and grateful for,” she says. “The feeling of being constantly surrounded and supported by a community that loves you is second to none, and mine does it like no other!”
From a young age, Braylie knew she wanted to pursue a career in the medical field, driven by her passion for helping others and making a positive impact on people’s lives. This desire eventually led her to choose radiology as her specialty. She chose Cincinnati Children’s because of its renowned compassionate care and welcoming environment, which she experienced firsthand with her own family. “The compassionate and loving atmosphere here is second to none, and I am grateful to now be a part of it!” she says.
As a Radiology Technologist, Braylie’s role involves overseeing the imaging needs across the hospital. Whether taking x-rays on the floor, performing or assisting with fluoroscopy exams, or operating the c-arm in the operating room, Braylie’s work is essential to providing accurate diagnoses and supporting patient care.
Outside of work, Braylie enjoys spending time with her family, especially her beloved Papaw Tom, who holds a special place in her heart. She cherishes her moments on the family farm and the opportunity to stay connected to her roots. Braylie is also adventurous and enjoys trying new activities with her friends. A lover of books and movies, she recently finished reading The Book Thief and watching The Choice.
Braylie’s dedication to patient care, her warm personality, and her deep connection to family and community make her a wonderful addition to Cincinnati Children’s Radiology Department. We are excited to have her on the team and look forward to seeing her positive impact on patients and families.
