Here’s a shout out to Stefanie Schlosser (wearing pink stethoscope) for her promotion to RNII! Stefanie is part of the Anesthesia Imaging section that works closely with our MRI Division. She has been a long-time employee of Cincinnati Children’s.
“Dedication, being a resource, teamwork, setting good examples, and going above and beyond are just a few examples of what being an RN II means. From a very young age I knew I wanted to be a nurse, but it wasn’t until after having my oldest son that I knew becoming a pediatric nurse is where my heart was. The patients and their families at Cincinnati Children’s make it easy to love what I do. I feel privileged to work at such an amazing hospital and to work with such wonderful people everyday.” -Stefanie Schlosser
Some of the requirements for being promoted to RNII are as follows: the applicant’s most recent performance evaluation must be at least an on target or higher rating; he or she must present a justification statement, three letters of recommendation, and a CV; he or she must demonstrate clinical and leadership exemplar; be viewed as a resource; have great technical skills; be confident; have a positive attitude; be flexible; be involved in process improvement; be certified and have their BSN, MSN or higher education; work closely with their clinical director/manager; and be in good standing and on no written warnings.
Stefanie has proven to her leadership and co-workers that she has what it takes to earn her promotion. We wish her all the best in her ongoing career here at Cincinnati Children’s.
