I am a Bolivian physician and have been working with kids for more than 10 years in South America. Bolivia is a landlocked country located in western-central South America. The constitutional capital is Sucre, while the seat of government and executive capital is La Paz. The country’s population, estimated at 11 million, is multiethnic, including Amerindians, Mestizos, Europeans, Asians, and Africans. Spanish is the official and predominant language, although 36 indigenous languages also have official status, of which the most commonly spoken are Guarani, Aymara, and Quechua languages.¹

My name is Emma Lange and I am a diagnostic medical sonographer graduate from Cincinnati State. I have lived in Northern Kentucky my whole life and just moved a few months ago from Ft. Wright to Covington, KY.

Outside of work I like to spend time with my family and my boyfriend. I am a huge animal lover, and I especially love dogs! I have two dogs at home, Sally and Moon. I love spending time outside and just hanging out and relaxing.

I am so excited to start my career here at Cincinnati Children’s!

Tessa Bangert

Hello! My name is Tessa. I am 28 and have lived here in Cincinnati my whole life. I went to Loveland high school and attended Cincinnati State for sonography.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, playing volleyball, basically any outside activity. I also really enjoy exploring local restaurants and breweries.

I have always been interested in healthcare and found ultrasound particularly fascinating. I am so excited to be here at Cincinnati Children’s and am looking forward to meeting all my fellow sonographers and learning from you!

I’ve lived in Cincinnati my entire life and outside of work I enjoy gardening and spending time with my kids at local parks.
