Cincinnati Children’s Radiology is excited to welcome Jasmine Scott, who goes by Monet, to the team as a radiology technologist. A lifelong Cincinnati resident with a love for people and a passion for helping others, Monet is looking forward to making a difference for patients and families.
Growing up in Cincinnati gave Monet plenty of fun memories. Among her favorites are visiting local attractions such as Kings Island, Surf Cincinnati, The Beach, Coney Island, and Americana. One especially memorable experience was meeting Krista from Star64 at the hospital where her stepmother worked.
Those experiences helped make Cincinnati home—and today, Monet is excited to continue her career in the city she has always known and loved.
Monet’s decision to enter the medical field came from something very personal: “I have a love for people.” That same passion is one of the reasons she chose Cincinnati Children’s. “I love little people,” she says, adding that she had always heard Cincinnati Children’s was one of the best places to work.
Now, as a member of the radiology team, Monet will put that passion into action every day. As a radiology technologist, her primary responsibility is taking X-rays. While that may sound straightforward, pediatric radiology is about much more than obtaining an image. Technologists play an important role in helping children and families feel comfortable while also obtaining high-quality images that help care teams understand what is happening with a patient. Monet is ready to bring her enthusiasm, compassion and personality to every patient interaction.
When she’s not at Cincinnati Children’s, Monet enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading interesting books, trying new things, and taking walks. She also enjoys visiting the butterfly exhibit at the conservatory, which she describes as a place to find “peace of mind.” And if there is one thing her coworkers will likely learn quickly, it’s that Monet is a foodie!
The last book Monet read was the Bible, and the last movie she saw was Fantastic Four.

Glenn Miñano is a media specialist in the Department of Radiology, providing graphic design, photography, printing, video services, and administration of the department’s online properties. His works have been published in several medical articles, such as the American Journal of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound. He has been providing these services to the Radiology Department since 1996.
