This week starts the annual United Way of Greater Cincinnati campaign. Each year our Radiology Department does it’s part of raising money for the campaign. Throughout the campaign, our staff will host events each week to generate funds for the United Way.
If you are unfamiliar with United Way and what it does for our communities in southwest Ohio, northern Kentucky, and eastern Indiana, this short video gives an overview:
United Way’s focus on children and families is aligned with CCHMC’s goals, and United Way is a contributor to Cincinnati Children’s programs such as Every Child Succeeds, the Aaron Perlman Center, and Cradle Cincinnati. Since March 2020, United Way of Greater Cincinnati has provided critical services through its COVID-19 relief fund to stabilize other non-profit organizations providing relief and support to our communities as well as providing direct relief to families. In addition, emergency assistance to anyone in our region is available 24/7/365 through the 211 help center, providing a crucial lifeline to people in need.
Charitable giving is a very personal choice. We in the Department of Radiology hope to help our community by doing our part in this month-long campaign.
