Radiology Department Helping with the United Way of Greater Cincinnati Campaign 2020

This week is the start of Cincinnati Children’s United Way of Greater Cincinnati campaign. The United Way has been one of our integral partners in several of our community efforts including Every Child Succeeds and Cradle Cincinnati. With a focus on breaking the cycle of generational poverty and elevating entire families, the goals of United Way align with the core values of Cincinnati Children’s. It’s worth noting that United Way is not just focused on the Cincinnati urban core. The issues of poverty, jobs, education, and healthcare are just as important for our suburban and rural communities in the tri-state region, and United Way is actively involved there as well.

Our Department of Radiology is doing its part in raising funds for the campaign. Teams of co-workers will be created in order to promote a friendly competition to see who can gather the most funds. The winner will likely be treated to some sort of prize for the group. Other ways of engagements might be raffling off prizes, Paid-Time-Off hours, Food Drives, Halloween Costume Contest and other related activities.

Charitable giving is a very personal choice. We in the Department of Radiology hope to help our community by doing our part in this month-long campaign.
