Kennedy Baioni grew up just across the river from Cincinnati in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, and many of her favorite childhood memories are tied to time spent with family. From cheering on the Reds at Great American Ball Park to attending Bengals games together, sports became a way to create lasting family traditions and connections.
A natural sense of empathy and a desire to help others led Kennedy toward a career in healthcare. She knew she wanted to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, and the medical field offered the perfect opportunity to combine compassion with hands-on patient care. Helping others through challenging moments continues to be one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.
Although healthcare was always the goal, Kennedy discovered that working with children was where she truly belonged. After spending a year in an adult hospital, she became even more certain that pediatric care was the right path for her. Cincinnati Children’s provided the ideal opportunity to return closer to home while pursuing her passion for caring for young patients and their families.
Today, Kennedy serves as an X-ray technologist at Cincinnati Children’s. Her role involves capturing diagnostic X-rays throughout the hospital, including in the Radiology Department, on inpatient floors, and during surgical procedures. The position requires technical expertise, adaptability, and strong patient care skills, as each day brings new experiences and opportunities to support the healthcare team in delivering accurate diagnoses and treatment.
Outside of work, Kennedy enjoys spending time in the kitchen. While she loves cooking, she admits that her baking skills tend to outperform her cooking efforts, making baking one of her favorite hobbies. Whether experimenting with new recipes or creating treats for family and friends, she enjoys the creativity that comes with it.
Through her dedication to patient care, her passion for working with children, and her connection to the Cincinnati community, Kennedy brings warmth, professionalism, and compassion to her role every day. Her commitment to helping others makes her a valued member of the Cincinnati Children’s team and a positive presence for the patients and families she serves.
