Abbie Bell is excited to begin her career at Cincinnati Children’s, bringing with her a passion for helping others, a strong educational foundation, and an enthusiasm for pediatric care.
Originally from the Columbus, Ohio, area, Abbie recently earned her bachelor of science in diagnostic medical sonography. Her interest in healthcare has always been rooted in a desire to help those in need, but it was during ultrasound school that she discovered a special connection to pediatrics. That experience inspired her to pursue a career working with children and their families, making Cincinnati Children’s the perfect place to start her professional journey.
Family has always played an important role in Abbie’s life. She has a sister who is just one year older, and the two have remained incredibly close throughout the years. Some of Abbie’s favorite childhood memories are the simple moments spent together, whether hanging out at home or creating lifelong memories as a family.
One tradition that holds a special place in her heart takes place every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Abbie and her family make it a tradition to go out and cut down their Christmas tree together, a cherished event that marks the beginning of the holiday season and continues to bring everyone together year after year.
Outside of work, Abbie enjoys staying active, spending time on the golf course, and being with family and friends. She is also an avid reader and enjoys discovering new television shows to binge-watch in her free time.
When it comes to books, one of her favorites is Never Lie by Freida McFadden, a fast-paced psychological thriller that kept her hooked from beginning to end. Her favorite movie is the holiday classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas, a fitting choice for someone who loves Christmas traditions and the festive season.
As an ultrasound technologist, Abbie looks forward to caring for patients while continuing to learn and grow within her profession. Her commitment to compassionate care and her excitement for working with children will serve her well as she begins this new chapter.

Glenn Miñano is a media specialist in the Department of Radiology, providing graphic design, photography, printing, video services, and administration of the department’s online properties. His works have been published in several medical articles, such as the American Journal of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound. He has been providing these services to the Radiology Department since 1996.
