Fetal Imaging in Radiology, Then and Now 

In 2003 Dr. Kline-Fath set the foundation for Fetal Imaging in our Radiology Department. In this recorded presentation, she goes over the history of starting the Fetal Imaging Division, with The Fetal Care Center at Cincinnati Children’s and what it is today. In her own words, “Our goal is to provide the best care for genetic, intervention and delivery procedures for fetuses in the womb that have complex disorders.”

Beth M. Kline-Fath began the fetal imaging program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. As section chief of fetal imaging, she has trained many other physicians, presented international and national, and worked on many committees to advance this new specialty. Dr. Kline-Fath also served as chief editor and wrote several chapters for a textbook Fundamentals and Advanced Fetal Imaging: MRI and US. Recently, Beth Kline-Fath has worked to implement the use of an innovative small bore dedicated MR unit in the neonatal intensive care unit.
