AAPM Elects Dr. Samuel Brady as Fellow of the Association

Recently, The American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) announced its election of Dr. Samuel Brady as a Fellow of the Association. He is currently an associate professor at the University of Cincinnati and Chief Physicist at Cincinnati Children’s, Radiology Department. The category of Fellow honors members who have distinguished themselves by their contributions in research, education, or leadership in the medical physics community.  

The award was presented at the 2022 AAPM 64th Annual Meeting & Exhibition on July 11, 2022. 

Congratulations to Dr. Samuel Brady for his achievement! This just shows the type of caliber employees we have in our Department of Radiology. 

The American Association of Physicists in Medicine is an organization of over 9,600 medical physicists in 94 countries and supports the Medical Physics community with a focus on advancing patient care through education, improving safety and efficacy of radiation oncology and medical imaging procedures through research, and the maintenance of professional standards.
