Payton Craig: A Passionate Radiologic Technologist Ready to Make a Difference

Hello! My name is Payton Craig, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as a newly hired full-time radiologic technologist. At 23 years old, my journey has taken me through different experiences, all of which have shaped my passion for helping others—especially children.

I grew up in the small town of Rising Sun, Indiana, and attended school in nearby Lawrenceburg. After high school, I took some time to figure out which career path was the best fit for me. I’ve always been drawn to helping people, but it took a while to determine exactly how I wanted to do that. My passion for working with children really blossomed during a few key experiences: working at a daycare, watching my now 3-year-old brother grow up, and spending time with my youngest sister, who’s now 6 years old.

In 2022, I made a significant move to Madison, Indiana, where I enrolled in Norton’s King Daughter’s Health two-year radiologic technology program. I’m proud to say that I graduated from X-ray school on June 19, 2024. Following graduation, I moved to Florence, Kentucky, where I’m excited to start this new chapter of my life.

Outside of work, I’m a nature lover who enjoys exploring the outdoors. I also find joy in reading, watching movies, trying new restaurants, and meeting new people. Spending time with friends is something I truly value as well.

I’m so happy and excited to be part of this incredible team, and I look forward to making a positive impact through the work I do.
