The Radiology department at Cincinnati Children’s is excited to welcome Pamela McMahon to the team as one of its newest radiology technologists. With nearly 15 years of experience in imaging, Pamela is passionate about providing exceptional care and helping families through what can often be a stressful time. Her focus on making a scary situation less frightening for children and their families makes her a perfect fit for the hospital’s compassionate and family-centered approach to care.
Pamela’s career in radiology has taken her across the country, most recently from Georgia to Kentucky, as her husband’s job brought their family to this beautiful region. Originally from Buffalo, New York (and an enthusiastic Bills fan!), Pamela is excited to settle into the Kentucky/Ohio area and embrace the opportunities it offers.
One of the things Pamela looks forward to most about living in the area is experiencing her favorite season—fall. “Fall is my favorite season,” she says, “and I’m excited to share all my favorite fall activities with my family here.” From cozy sweaters to apple picking and pumpkin patches, she’s ready to explore the vibrant fall traditions of the region with her two young daughters.
At work, Pamela’s goal is to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for children who may feel nervous about their X-ray appointments. Her years of experience and compassionate approach will surely help her do just that. When she’s not in the X-ray room making kids smile, she’s at home with her own children, staying active, baking treats, and traveling to visit family and friends.
With a passion for pediatric care, a love for her new community, and a dedication to her family, Pamela McMahon brings both expertise and heart to Cincinnati Children’s. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to seeing the positive impact she will make on patients and their families.
