Jessica Neumann Receives the Radiology Family Recognition Award

Jessica Neumann, CT technologist in Cincinnati Children’s Radiology department, has been recognized this past quarter by families on the patient experience survey. She has been awarded the Radiology Family Recognition Award. The survey asks: Is there anyone you would like to recognize or anything else you would like to say about your Radiology experience?

Here is what some of the families had to say about Jessica:

“Our tech [Jessica] was absolutely amazing. She was knowledgeable and her communication skills were amazing. She was also so very kind and showed interest in our visit as well as my son’s personal life.”

“Yes, the staff [Jessica] in the CT scan department were very hospitable and very kind and thoughtful of myself and my son especially. And I just want to thank everybody there for the way they treated us and informing us of the information that we needed as we went through the process of my son’s scan. Thank you!”

Everyone we dealt with in CT was absolutely amazing!!! Jessica CT Tech

Yes, I think that the tech, I believe her name was Jess or Jessica. She was amazing. She was wonderful. She explained things to me. She explained things to my daughter who is older, so she could understand, but she was still terrified. And I just greatly appreciate that. She was knowledgeable. She…made my daughter feel like an adult, and it was just as pleasant of an unpleasant experience as it could have been. So I greatly appreciate that. Thank you!”

“We had the most amazing woman [Jessica] come get us and handle the CT scan. She was dressed festively and had an incredible warm, confident, comforting spirit about her. The kind that just lets you know she’s got this, and we are in great hands. My daughter was nervous, and this staff member was amazing. She had a natural way of grounding conversation directly with my girl, helping her to feel in control. She was kind and patient. She was creative in helping to involve me in the procedure to ease my daughter’s worries. She was informative and personable, quick and yet went more than the extra mile to let us know everything was OK. She let us know how quickly to expect results for my own worries. She was a Godsent. It was a quick scan, but it was an amazing blessing to be paired with her for that time. I just can’t really express what it meant to me as a mom to have her care for my daughter! The best blessing!”
