Not one, not two, but three—that’s how many MVP nominations our January Site of Care award recipient received this month alone. And that’s just the beginning. Since the MVP program launched, Stacie Sehlhorst has received a total of six nominations, each recognizing her exceptional teamwork, expertise, and compassion.
Stacie is clearly someone her colleagues trust, rely on, and admire. This month’s nominations highlighted her unwavering commitment to her patients and her peers—often going far beyond what is expected.
During the blizzard of 2026, Stacie volunteered to stay at the hospital with one other sonographer to ensure patient needs were fully covered for two days straight. When her shift finally ended, she still didn’t rush out the door. Instead, she waited until every teammate arrived safely before heading home herself.
Across all her nominations, a consistent theme shines through: Stacie’s willingness to teach; the depth of her clinical expertise; and her warm, thoughtful approach with patients, families, and coworkers.
Please join us in congratulating Stacie Sehlhorst, our January MVP, for the outstanding example she sets each day and for the positivity she brings to everyone around her.
Below are some of the nominations Stacie has received:
“Stacie is always willing to help anyone in need. She is a wealth of information and is more than willing to share it. She is such a hard worker. She doesn’t shy away from any exams. She can be heard singing to patients to keep them calm. She is a quick scanner and finds bizarre pathology. She is on many committees and finds time to train and scan complex cases. She is an amazing coworker, and the department would not be the same without her.”
“Stacie is one of the warmest and most welcoming people I have ever met. She is also incredibly intelligent and more than willing to share her wisdom with anyone to help improve better outcomes for our patients and staff. Stacie is a workhorse for our department, always willing to scan anything and everything as well as help anyone who needs assistance, without making them feel inferior.”
“Stacie is not a new nomination for MVP. She routinely demonstrates going above and beyond in her daily work. Her job knowledge and compassion are always evident in the exams she completes and the patient care that she provides…Stacie is also a compassionate team player. As the back-up call tech during the January 24/25 snowstorm, she volunteered to stay on-site and cover multiple shifts Saturday and Sunday to prevent her coworkers being on the roads. She really is a rock star!!”
Congratulations go out to all our January MVP nominees. You make each day better for those around you.
