Camryn Hill Named September Radiology MVP at Cincinnati Children’s

The September Radiology MVP award goes to Camryn Hill, RN II in Anesthesia Imaging. Camryn was recognized for her kindness, adaptability, teamwork, and the compassionate care she gives to all the patients and families, whether she is assigned to them or not.

Camryn serves as a charge nurse for Anesthesia Imaging, coordinating the necessary team members required for imaging procedures under anesthesia and sedation while managing patient flow and staffing. She leads with calm attentiveness and is a trusted colleague for nursing peers and tech co-workers alike.

Congratulations, Camryn! Thanks for your dedication and commitment to our patients and your teammates every day!

Below is the nomination Camryn received:

Camryn always goes above and beyond to make each patient have the best experience possible. She walks patients back to their car if the family needs assistance. She will take them back to their inpatient unit if transport is taking too long. She is always willing to help technologists with anything that is needed. If that means helping to clean the room, getting the table ready or helping with labs. I have never once seen any type of hesitation from Camryn when she is asked to help. Camryn is consistently doing what’s best for patients and her coworkers. On top of giving amazing patient care, Camryn is one of the best charge nurses we have. She leads this department with grace and gratitude. She is a great leader that her fellow nurses can look up to. She never stresses about how the day is going to go. As a charge technologist, Camryn will do everything in her power to work on getting every patient on our schedule, anesthesia and non-sedate. She sees our department as one working together as a unit.  When I think of someone who loves their job and wants to do their best, I think of Camryn. I’m so thankful for her every day I get to work with her. I honestly just can’t think of a better nurse in our department.

Congratulations to all the September MVP Nominees! We are grateful for your commitment to Radiology and our patients and families!
