After 26 years of dedicated service at Cincinnati Children’s, the past 10 of which she spent as the interventional radiology clinical manager, Laura Dickman has recently transitioned into an exciting new role: education consultant in Radiology. She’s thrilled to step into this position as the department’s first full-time educator, following in the footsteps of her predecessor, Julie Dickerson, who contributed immensely to the Radiology department. Laura is committed to continuing and expanding upon the exceptional foundation Julie established, with a focus on supporting the department’s talented team.
In her new role, Laura will oversee orientation, annual competencies, department-wide education, and more. She is passionate about helping colleagues grow professionally and encouraging continuous learning and excellence. Radiology is a department full of skilled professionals, and she is excited to meet everyone, welcoming any ideas or suggestions to support their education and training needs.
A lifelong resident of Northern Kentucky, Laura is also a proud mother of two: one in college and one in high school. At home, she has two mini goldendoodles who add a touch of liveliness to her household. Though she may not have an array of unique hobbies, she loves shopping, watching TV, and enjoying good food.
Laura is eager to bring her dedication and experience to this new role, and she looks forward to making a lasting impact on the department and its people.
