Radiology Department Welcomes New Employees

Stephan Clark

Hi, my name is Stephen Clark, and I grew up in a small town in Kentucky called Russell Springs, which is in the Lake Cumberland area of the state. During my youth, I always was doing something with technology, whether it involved shortwave radios or experimenting with musical equipment. My senior class was one of the first group of students to use the internet in the school system, and this piqued my curiosity for computers and networking. Shortly after high school, I enrolled in computer science courses at our community college and eventually finished up my Bachelor of Science degree at Murray State University.

Cincinnati Children’s has a reputation for being a leader in healthcare and having a positive work culture. When I read there was an opportunity to join the Radiology Informatics team as a lead analyst, I knew that this was where I wanted to be. Prior to starting with Cincinnati Children’s, I worked for a couple of vendors in Healthcare IT, Scimage and Nuance.

My hobbies are bird watching, reading, hiking, and working in the garden. I am currently reading The Tao of the Backup Catcher by Tim Brown and the last movie I saw was Barbie

Grace Severt

Hi! My name is Grace Severt. I am a Cincinnatian through and through. I graduated from UCBA. I worked as an RRA (Reading Room Assistant) before I started at the hospital in May. When I am not working, you can find me in the kitchen, out exploring, or at a concert venue.

I have a four-year-old golden doodle, Daisy. I have recently found out about pickleball and enjoy playing when I can! I am always down to hang out and have a good time.

Hanna Gray

Hi, my name is Hannah Gray and I am a radiologic technologist at Cincinnati Children’s. I just graduated from Sullivan University in September of 2023.

I am from Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, but grew up mainly in Lexington, Kentucky. Both cities are 45 minutes from each other but couldn’t be more different. Mt. Sterling has a small-town feel that everyone needs once in a while, and Lexington is the bigger city where there’s anything and everything to do. The best memory I have from living in Mt. Sterling is going from neighbor to neighbor trick or treating with my grandparents and everyone knowing who I was because of my family. My favorite memory from living in Lexington was going roller skating at Champs with my friends every weekend.

The reason I wanted to join the medical field at first was because of my mom. She has worked in the medical field all my life, and I wanted to be just like her. Growing up I noticed how advanced the medical field was becoming, and it fascinated me. I chose Cincinnati Children’s because I want to be a part of something bigger than myself. I love children, and being able to put a smile on their faces makes it all worth it.

Outside of the workplace, I love to spend quality time with my family and friends, go to football and baseball games, and just relax around the house. Since I was in school, I haven’t had a lot of time for reading, but I make it a point to read the same book every year: The Secret Life of Bees. The last movie I saw would be the Disney movie Elemental

Shannon Baute

My name is Shannon Baute and I’m from Northern Kentucky. Growing up, I enjoyed playing travel volleyball, making new friends, playing outside with neighbors, and spending time with loved ones. I have always loved science, technology, and helping others, and I feel that the medical field is the perfect fit for me.

I have been working at Cincinnati Children’s for the past 4 years with the Inpatient Care Management team. I look forward to continuing my career in Radiology with my new role as an ultrasound technologist.

Lindsey Ramey

Hi, my name is Lindsey Ramey. I grew up on the very west side of Cincinnati in a little town called Harrison. Back in the 90s, the town was covered with farms as far as you could see. One day we were even released early from school because a cattle truck overturned, and cows were loose all over town!

I always knew I wanted to work in the healthcare world while growing up. I started on the nursing track but realized that my heart was drawn to the ultrasound world. After moving to Savannah, Georgia, and then to Nashville, Tennessee, my family settled back in Harrison. This is when I started ultrasound school, and that’s where my Children’s Hospital journey began. I worked as a student at Cincinnati Children’s for the last half of my schooling and accepted the night position at the base.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my two daughters and running them to whatever activity it is for that day! We also enjoy movie nights and listening to way too many Taylor Swift songs. The last book I read was The Silent Patient

Jena Volciak

Hi, I grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia where my four siblings and I rode our bikes to the parks and quarter candy store. I finished high school in Denver, Colorado, and completed my associate’s degree in radiology in Wisconsin. I have fun exploring new places and now live closer to my sister here in Cincinnati! I love working with children and am very excited to be part of the team and community at Cincinnati Children’s as a radiographer.

In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with family, and anything related to food, culture, and travel. My dog, Daisy, and I love our walks and experiencing Cincinnati together!

LaShana West

I’m a Cincinnatian born and raised. I grew up on the west side in Western Hills. One of my favorite things to do growing up was hanging out with friends at ScallyWag tag, going to the “dollar” Danbarry movie theater and simply just walking around the neighborhood.

I originally joined the medical field during covid where I worked at an urgent care. During that time, I fell in love with helping people. I’ve worked at a couple different medical offices and hospitals before coming to Cincinnati Children’s. The reason I came to Cincinnati Children’s is because my son, who was born at Good Sam, had to be transferred here for an emergency ultrasound. During my stay here I was treated incredibly well and it piqued my curiosity into radiology. I am now a Reading Room Assistant in Radiology.

In my free time I enjoy anything to do with making or creating things. I love to craft, sew, crochet, paint, build, etc. The last book I read was Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell and the last movie I saw was The Flash.

Tiera Davis

Hey, my name is Tiera Davis, but everyone calls me Tee, and I am one of the New Reading Room Assistants.

I am from Cincinnati and I grew up in this neighborhood. I joined the medical field in pursuit of helping my great-grandmother. I chose Cincinnati Children’s because when I came here as a kid, I admired all the funny cartoon scrubs the employees got to wear and wanted to be a part of that. My title here in the Radiology Department is Reading Room Assistant and I really cannot list my job duties because it is a lot, lol!

Paige Loudin
My name is Paige Loudin, a returning employee for CCHMC! I grew up in a small town an hour and a half east of Cincinnati, so I grew up coming to Cincinnati and loving this city. When I graduated High School in 2020, I got accepted to Xavier University, in their Radiologic Technology program. During that time I was a student tech here at Children’s, but with a very demanding school and clinical schedule, I sadly had to find a new job. It was a fast two years of learning, and my graduation in 2022 quickly approached.  Following graduation, I stayed in the Cincinnati area and took my first job at OrthoCincy. While I loved orthopedics, I always knew I wanted to come back to Cincinnati Children’s. Fast forward a year, one thing led to another and before I knew it I was walking back through the doors of Children’s to begin a career again! This is the right place for me and I’m so thrilled to be back!

When I’m not at work I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, going on walks with my dog, golfing, going to Bengals games and Xavier basketball games!
